Tulip “Gold N Shimmer DC” (14.3hh – 2005 Palomino Mare)
Tulip is Canadian. That should tell you all you need to know about Tulip! She’s just nice and kind to people, nice to other horses and kind to her foals. Imported from Canada as a young horse, she suffered a field accident which meant that her riding career was finished early. Tulip is Wiescamp bred from Skipper W lines and is a beautifully put together ranch mare, who produces substantial, conformationally correct foals with fabulous temperaments and the ability to do pretty much anything.
Tulip is our lead and dominant mare, who rules with a hoof of iron and is respected by the other mares. She’s always the first one to say hello, always polite and well mannered with people and is just genuinely a pleasure to work with. She’s just completely Canadian!
We have retained her 2022 filly foal Daisy (HW Gold N Hobbit) and we are excited to see how she grows up.
