Crocodile “Leaguerly Zippin” (14.3hh – 2014 Liver Chestnut Mare)
We acquired Crocodile in the spring of 2020 just before the first lock down. She was a departure for us, in that she is a pleasure bred horse rather than a reining/cutting bred horse and boasts horses like Zip Chip Leaguer, Zips Chocolate Chip and Zippo Pine Bar in her pedigree. She has her own impressive competition history, winning Q15 in Germany as a weanling. (AQHA German Western equivalent of UK Horse of the Year.)
Croc has an opinion on everything (and is a ginger) and is the classic “you tell a gelding but ask a mare”. Once she trusts you, she would quite literally lay her life down for you. However she’s a marmite horse, she either likes you or she doesn’t, and if she doesn’t, she’s quick to tell you. The pair of us like each other an awful lot, but then Croc and I can both be very moody mares! (Just ask Huw!) Her foals so far are well put together, have nice personalities, great attitudes and are very biddable and easy to train.
