Sting “Gotta Mightey Sting” – (14hh – 2020 Buckskin Stallion)
Sting was Helen’s 50th birthday present from Huw. Although, in the interests of full disclosure we had been looking for a new stallion to run on behind Hobbit for about 18 months. Following several failed trips to Germany and a USA stallion that failed a vetting, we found Sting two hours up the road in Warwick at the Golden Triangle Stud and he joined us in August 2022.
His Western breeding is impeccable, his temperament is phenomenal and he is just genuinely fabulous. We estimate that he’ll make about 14.1hh fully grown.
Sting will spend 2024 competing in BD dressage, BE eventing and Working Equitation.
His Pedigree boasts performance horses like Grays Starlight, Spooks Gotta gun, Hollywood White, Smart Chic Olena and Topsail Whiz.
We’re very excited about this boy and what he will produce with our girls. His first foals in 2024 have already exceeded expectation.
